0230K00007 Nighthawk Zoning Integration Kit For R-32 Refrigerant Systems
The A2L Accessory/Zoning Control is intended for R-32 refrigerant HVAC systems with electronic accessories like zoning controls, air cleaners, UV lamps, humidifiers, or dehumidifiers. It's not necessary if no such accessories are used. These systems require a refrigerant detection system for leak detection. If a leak occurs in the indoor unit, the detection system will shut down all HVAC functions and keep the indoor blower running to disperse R-32 gas. The A2L Accessory/Zoning Control works with this system to ensure all zone dampers remain open and installed accessories are powered down during a leak alarm. Once the leak is resolved, it will restore power to the accessories and close the dampers.
White-Rodgers (Emerson) control board for A2L mitigation with Accessories and Zoning systems. Zoning systems and accessories such as Electronic Air Cleaners, Humidifiers, UV lights, etc would be connected through the Nighthawk control board for A2L mitigation when needed.. Attached is the IO manual for Nighthawk (IO-7032) and the wiring instructions.

1 - PCB enclosure with zoning PCB enclosed inside it
1 - 10ft Red 18 AWG wire with insulated 1/4" terminals on each side (for wiring the Alarm terminal to the HVAC unit)
1 - 10ft Blue 18 AWG wire with insulated 1/4" terminal on one end and cut on the other end (for wiring transformer common to the HVAC unit)
4 - 10ft Black 18 AWG wire with insulated 1/4" terminal on one end and cut on the other end (for power wiring to accessory and to accessory power)
4 - 10ft White 18 AWG wire with insulated 1/4" terminal on one end and cut on the other end (for neutral or common wiring to accessory and to accessory power)
1 - Mounting hardware (screws & wall anchors)
